What does work-life balance mean to you?

Do you sleep with your work cell phone next to you and your pillow? Are you accessible 24 hours a day, how often? Do you see your family as often as you want to? Are you happy with the hours you put into your job vs the hours you have for yourself, with friends and family? What is your stress level? How is your blood pressure? Are you happy?

Work-life balance can be especially difficult for parents of young children; almost 60 percent of employed first-time mothers in the United States return to work within 12 weeks after childbirth.

For many workers, creating a work-life balance means managing how technology works for us vs against us in our day to day lives. Technology makes it easy to communicate with anyone anywhere in the world around the clock.
